National Parks and Wildlife Service choose Tetra Irelands Managed Emergency Response Service

Tetra Ireland has been working closely with the National Parks and Wildlife service for just over 1 year now. The NPWS initially came to us after identifying a requirement for far reaching communications. They had challenges with traditional mobile and radio communications and many of their staff working where working in remote and isolated locations with little or no coverage. After an initial pilot across three of the six National Parks it was quickly made clear we could provide them a national communications solution like no other.

The Role of the NPWS rangers and enforcement teams is to secure the conservation of Irelands ecosystems and to manage, maintain and develop State-owned National Parks and Nature Reserves Their safety committee had been looking at replacing an obsolete man-down system. Our 24/7 full managed emergency response service was an ideal fit for them as it ensures a level of confidence in their staff. They know that if faced with making an emergency call on their radio they will get through to our call centre in Dublin from even some of the roughest terrain in the country.
