TETRAssist
TETRA Ireland is now the new provider of Ireland’s paging network. The new NDRS service offers a dedicated communications network for emergency response agencies and public service professionals with improved new messaging and innovative additional features.
TETRAssist’s basic data messaging offers a range of traditional and newly enhanced services:
TETRAssist Bureau Service
TETRA Ireland’s new service provides comprehensive operator-based message assistance. Our specially trained personnel will issue messages to a TETRAssist number on a sender’s behalf. This can also be facilitated by SMS to an individual mobile phone number or by email to a single email address.
TETRAssist Paging
TETRAssist from TETRA Ireland offers critical data-only messaging on a truly nationwide basis. This new service offers a vastly improved network service of 99% geographical area coverage which includes remote rural regions and 20kms off-shore. Messages, 140 characters in length can be sent directly to your TETRAssist device by any of the following methods:
- By calling or emailing the TETRA Ireland Burea
- Direct call from a landline (using our new automated messaging system)
- Another TETRA device (data or voice terminal)
- By email to our Bureau
- Bespoke methods in development with the customer
TETRA Ireland provides monthly audit reports to users upon pre-arranged request.
TETRAssist Delivery Notification
TETRAssist offers the capability to receive a notification of a message failure. Upon sending a TETRAssist message from a TETRA device, the sender can receive an automatic instant return message advising them if their message has failed. This also applies if the recipient’s device is turned off. This service enables the sender to then react accordingly to reissue the message if required. TETRAssist Bureau users can check the status of their sent message by calling in to receive an update from our customer care team.
TETRAssist Two-Way Messaging
The new TETRAssist service offers traditional pager users the unique capability to receive return messages.Once a page is issued, a pre-defined response message can be issued back to the originator. Ie The TETRAssist Bureau or another TETRA device. The TETRAssist device offers a choice of up to 40 pre-defined messages which can be issued up to pre-assigned 40 individual users.
TETRAssist ADDITIONAL SERVICES – COMING SOON
Worker safety is all-important to public service and emergency response personnel working alone in the community. TETRA Ireland will soon launch a range of personal worker safety solutions that monitor worker safety and can facilitate effective support when and where it is required.
