Irish Revenue Commission
Revenue’s Customs Service works primarily at the point of entry to and exit from the State monitoring the transfer of goods that may be illegal, restricted, prohibited or where the relevant taxes and duties have not been paid. Revenue’s communication migration to the NDRS was completed in 2010.
TETRA Ireland worked in tandem with An Garda Síochána to deliver a bespoke and integrated communications solution for the Irish State visits by H.M. The Queen and US President Obama - the largest and most policed events ever held here.
Mountain Rescue Ireland comprises of 12 teams providing a 24 hour voluntary emergency service in many remote mountain ranges where the NDRS operates full coverage.
The Inter-Agency Emergency Management Office South is comprised of five key agencies to prepare for and make a co-ordinated response to major emergencies resulting from events such as fires, transport accidents, hazardous substance incidents and severe weather.
Comprising of 14 correctional institutions nationally, the Irish Prison Service required an encrypted, resilient communications network that would operate both locally, in-building and nationally, for group calling and interoperation with partnering agencies.
